Creative Challenge:

Design a modular display family to prominently showcase all types of MacGregor Golf clubs and accessories.  Family of displays must accommodate a variety of retail settings, make product orderly and easily accessible, and meet budgetary requirements.

Execution:

Blue and silver brand colors predominate the display family.  Bold graphic treatment includes lifestyle images of Greg Norman, the MacGregor brand and MacTec club technology.  Base unit neatly organizes drivers, iron, and putters in single, 12 club, and 24 club modules.  Corner accents promote bags, hats, and other MacGregor accessories.

Results:

The unit has been fielded successfully in stand alone, linear, small island, and large island configurations in major chains down to independent pro shops.  The family of displays offers future ability to replace graphics to support years of life in the field.  The overall program, whether fielded as a stand alone display or a shop in shop environment, successfully supports the elevation of the MacGregor brand at retail.  The unit was the winner of a 2007 Silver Outstanding Merchandising Award.
